Corsair Nightsabre Gaming Mouse Review

The Corsair Nightsabre Wireless Mouse caught me a little by surprise if I'm honest, it embodies a sophisticated blend of style, functionality and performance and caters to a very diverse mix of users. It manages to balance a gamer centric focus with a rather sleek design (minus the RGB lighting) and will appeal to both gaming enthusiasts and professionals looking for a high performing, high functioning mouse.

Corsairs design choices for the Nightsabre balances between an edgy, gamer centric aesthetic, with a somewhat sophisticated overall design. Boasting plenty of angular lines, curves and RGB contributing to its more modern gamery design, what sets it apart from a lot of gaming mice is its ability to appear gamery without being excessively gaudy.

The build quality is rather impressive and combines a durable plastic construction with a very ergonomic shape for a really nice hand feel that I feel would suit almost everyone with various grip styles. Weighting less than 100g this lightweight mouse will allow for very long sessions without any perceivable hand fatigue, crucial for both gamers and professionals alike.

One of the Nightsabre’s standout features is its excellent battery life. A whopping 100 hours from a single charge means it's always ready when you are. In the occasion it's not however, a quick 15 minute charge gives you up-to 20 hours of battery meaning that you'll never be out of the game for long.

In terms of performance, and gaming performance in particular the Nightsabre is a beast. Its sub 1ms delay combined with a 2000hz polling rate means exceptional responsiveness and accuracy. The lack of perceivable lag makes it a formidable weapon in competitive gaming. Its performance does not falter when using it for daily tasks either. Its versatility is very evident whether it be gaming sessions or scrolling through spreadsheets.

The Corsair Nightsabre, earns its position as a top tier peripheral, its exceptional battery life, quick charge capabilities and epic performance, it caters to the needs of both gamers and professionals seeking a very reliable wireless mouse. Corsair's usual attention to detail shines through here and seamlessly balances performance, style and functionality. While it's not flawless, there are really no issues to note with the Nightsabre, making it a very compelling choice for anyone looking for a top tier gaming mouse.

Overall the Corsair Nightsabre is a testament to Corsair's commitment to being a market leader in gaming peripherals and earns a well deserved 9/10 for being a very solid all rounder. The only reason it doesn't earn a 10/10 is down to its lack of a “stand out feature” or innovation.
