Let's take a look at the JBL Bar 300, a mid range soundbar that will elevate your home audio experience and one that's performance well outweighs the price tag. Whether you watch movies, music, gaming, or just someone who just wants to elevate their TV sound, this soundbar is a perfect option for just about anyone. Let's have a closer look at what makes this one of the best upgrades you'll make.

The JBL Bar 300’s design is both sleek and modern, its slim profile makes it perfect for slipping under your TV or monitor to greatly improve your sound without the large footprint of a traditional sound system. The mix of metal and plastic allows the Bar 300 to both look good and feel robust without weighing a tonne. Its minimalist design means that no matter what your home decor is, the Bar 300 should blend right in.
The Bar 300 comes packed with features that include the following:
Surround Sound - JBL Surround technology is designed with immersion in mind, without needing any extra speakers and cluttering up your space
Dolby Digital - Dolby Digital speaks for itself. Its name is synonymous with great sounding audio and this is no exception.
Bluetooth Connectivity - Allows for music streaming from your phone or bluetooth device
HDMI ARC - This makes connecting to your TV as simple as plugging in one cable and allows you to control your TV with the JBL Bar 300 remote
Remote Control - Speaking of remotes, the one that the Bar 300 comes with is compact, user friendly and gives you access to all of the functions and modes the Bar 300 comes with.
App Control - If even a compact remote like the Bar 300’s is too much for you, control your soundbar with the JBL Soundbar app
Smart Home Connectivity - When you don't want to use your hands at all anymore, simply ask your smart home device to control the soundbar without any issues.
Let's get to the sound, because after all, that's what we're here for right?
The built in rear firing subwoofers deliver strong bass that both punch and is really well defined, it's not going to cause the pictures on your wall to fall off like a dedicated subwoofer, but it certainly adds a nice depth to your audio experience. Especially for movies and gaming where bass is important. The mids are clear and detailed, which is great for dialogue and voices. I live in a house with a toddler so hearing what people are saying on TV is sometimes a struggle. The Bar 300 makes that much easier due to the quality of its mids. The highs are super crisp and really add to the overall definition and clarity of the sound.

It's the soundstage though that impresses me the most with this one. Those rear firing speakers really open up the sound stage and give movies and games a real sense of grandeur. Quite often I am thrown out by hearing things behind me, only to realise its coming from the TV, catching me by surprise due to the fact I don't expect such great surround sound from a single unit.
In terms of connectivity the Bar 300 includes the following:
HDMI ARC - As mentioned above, this makes setup a breeze and allows for better integration between your bar and your TV
Optical Input - Allows for connection to older devices
Bluetooth - Stream music wirelessly from your phone, tablet or other bluetooth capable device
USB - There's even a USB port for playing audio files from a USB drive.
In terms of performance, the JBL Bar 300 really outshines my expectations. It handles anything you can throw at it. From movies and TV to gaming and music. The surround sound (as mentioned above) is particularly good, creating immersion perfect for movies and games. While the bass might not satisfy those looking for earth shattering lows, it's definitely more than enough for everyone else.

Ive been using it as a soundbar for my PC to upgrade my gaming audio without losing any meaningful desk space as well as using it over the last 2 months on both my LG C1 TV and Prism+ Q55 Ultra TV and it drastically improves the audio quality of both.
Pros:
Sleek, modern design that fits well with any decor.
Strong, punchy bass.
Clear and detailed midrange and treble.
Wide soundstage and effective surround sound.
Multiple connectivity options, including HDMI ARC and Bluetooth.
Easy setup and user-friendly remote.
Cons:
Bass isn’t as deep as what you’d get from a dedicated subwoofer.
The surround sound is virtual, not true multi-channel.
Might not satisfy audiophiles looking for the ultimate sound fidelity.

Overall, the JBL Bar 300 is a fantastic mid-range soundbar. It delivers a robust and immersive audio experience that will elevate your audio experience over standard TV speakers. Its sleek design and solid build quality make it a great addition to any home theatre setup. It may not be an ultimate choice for audiophiles, but it offers plenty of benefits for the average user.
