Intel Gamer Days Is Almost Over, So Here’s What You Can Still Grab

If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your gaming PC, picking up a new CPU or finally replacing some of those ageing components, you’re running out of time. Intel Gamer Days 2026 is almost over, with the main Australian campaign wrapping up this Sunday, September 13.

There have been plenty of different deals throughout the campaign, from complete gaming PCs and Intel processors through to motherboards, power supplies, cooling and peripherals. Some of the bigger discounts have already come and gone, but there are still some worthwhile offers available if you’re looking to put together a new system or upgrade the one you already have.

One of the more interesting parts of this year's promotion has also been the gaming side of Intel Gamer Days. Selected Intel hardware purchases come with copies of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, giving PC gamers another reason to take advantage of the promotion before it disappears. Both games are part of Intel's push around upcoming PC releases and are being optimised for Intel hardware, including support for Intel XeSS 3.

If you were hoping to grab one of the heavily discounted MSI gaming desktops, unfortunately you may have just missed out. A number of those offers were scheduled to run only until September 9, including some fairly substantial discounts on systems such as the MSI MEG Vision X AI and MPG Infinite X3 AI. Some of those machines were discounted by well over $1,000, so they were certainly among the more tempting deals of the campaign.

That doesn't mean Intel Gamer Days is finished, though. There are still plenty of components on offer, particularly if you're building your own PC. MSI's Z890 Gaming Plus WiFi is down to $399 from $429, while the MAG Z890 Tomahawk WiFi has dropped from $489 to $469. There are also B860 options available for anyone building around a more affordable Intel Core Ultra platform, with the B860-P WiFi down to $259 and the PRO B860M-A WiFi down to $249. These offers are currently scheduled to run through September 13.

For anyone who already has the rest of their system sorted, the power and cooling deals are arguably some of the better remaining offers. MSI's MAG A750GLS PCIe 5 power supply is down to $119 from $159, while the MAG A1000GL PCIe 5 White has dropped to $219 from $279. There are also discounts on MSI's CoreLiquid range, including the MAG CORELIQUID A13 360 at $89 and the 240mm version at $79. Even the MAG COREFROZR AA13 air cooler has fallen to just $29.

Interestingly, some of these particular MSI component deals actually run beyond the main Intel Gamer Days deadline. The power supplies, cooling products and some cases are currently listed through September 30, meaning you don't necessarily have to make the decision this weekend if you're looking at one of those products. The main Gamer Days campaign itself still finishes on September 13, however, so it's worth checking the individual deal before assuming you've got another few weeks.

There are also a couple of cheap peripheral options that caught my eye. MSI's VERSA 300 Elite Wireless mouse has dropped from $89 to $49, while the FORCE GC300 W controller has gone from $79 to $49. They're not exactly the sort of purchases that require you to rebuild your entire PC, but at $49 they could be an easy way to add something new to the setup without spending a fortune.

Then there's the CPU side of things, which is probably where Intel Gamer Days makes the most sense for anyone actually building or upgrading a PC. Scorptec is currently offering a range of Intel processors with the bonus game promotion, including the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus at $528, Core Ultra 9 285K at $979, Core Ultra 5 250K Plus at $349 and Core Ultra 5 245K at $329. There are also some particularly aggressive discounts on models such as the Core Ultra 5 245KF, which is listed at $279 compared with its previous $349 price.

For those building something a little more budget friendly, the Core Ultra 5 225F is currently listed at $229, down from $269, while Intel's Core i5-14400F is available for $259. The Arc B580 is also getting some attention, with selected 12GB models discounted by around $40 to $50 and included in the Gamer Days bonus game promotion.

What I like about Intel Gamer Days this year is that it isn't simply about trying to convince someone to buy an entire new PC. There are enough different deals spread across the hardware stack that you can potentially use the promotion to upgrade one part of an existing machine. A new CPU, motherboard, power supply or cooler can make sense on its own, particularly if you've been putting off an upgrade for a while.

And if you're building a completely new machine, there are obviously bigger savings to be had by combining several of the offers. That's where the bonus games become a nice extra as well. You're not just getting a discounted piece of hardware, but potentially walking away with two new games to play once you've finished putting the system together.

For me, though, the biggest takeaway is simply that this is the final weekend of the main Intel Gamer Days campaign. Some of the headline PC deals have already disappeared, but there are still processors, motherboards, peripherals and plenty of other components available. And with some of the MSI hardware deals continuing beyond September 13, it's worth looking at the individual offer rather than assuming everything disappears at the same time.

If you've been waiting for the right excuse to finally upgrade that PC, this is probably it. The absolute monster discounts from earlier in the campaign might already be gone, but there are still some genuinely decent deals sitting there. And once September 13 rolls around, you may be wishing you'd pulled the trigger while you had the chance.
