Amazon has reportedly leaked both the price and release date for the Playstation 5 before later removing both of those bits of information from their listing.
According to Ben Geskin on Twitter he came across the information before Amazon was able to remove it and of course he took this screenshot:
Its possible that this information isn't true and more a place holder from Amazon, but if it is that will mean the PS5 will cost €499 which is around $815AUD at today's conversion. The release date however is right around the start/middle of Christmas shopping periods so makes a lot of sense for it to release around that time.
The listing also stated the price of the digital edition to be around €399 or $650AUD
Could there be any truth to these rumours? We certainly hope so as it seems much more reasonable than the $1000+ price tags we've been seeing thrown around.
