The Belkin BoostCharge Pro 65W Laptop Power Bank is one of those products that lands in a very honest, very practical "upper middle ground", and I actually respect it a lot for that.

It’s not the best power bank I’ve ever used, but it doesn’t pretend to be. There are more premium feeling options out there, with nicer finishes, tighter design work, and that slightly more “luxury tech” feel when you pick them up. But those also tend to come with a price tag that reflects that positioning. This Belkin isn’t really chasing that space. Instead, it sits in a more sensible category where it just focuses on doing exactly what it says it will do. And importantly, it does that part really well.
There’s something quite refreshing about that in a market where everything often feels like it’s trying to be the absolute best version of itself on paper.
Don't get me wrong, this power bank isn't cheaply made. Not by any stretch of the imagination. It is robust, its premium feeling and it well and truly justifies its price tag, its just not "the most premium" if that makes sense? And honestly, that's a good thing.
What you get here is a straightforward, reliable 65W power bank that is designed to keep laptops and other devices running when you’re away from a wall socket. And in real world use, that’s exactly how it behaves.

You plug in a laptop, (or other USB powered device) and it charges. You keep working, and the battery doesn’t immediately start dropping. You plug in a phone or handheld device, and it handles that just as easily. There’s no drama, no weird power management quirks, no moments where you question whether it’s actually doing what it’s supposed to. It just works, and that’s kind of the entire experience.
Where you do notice the difference compared to more premium power banks is in the overall feel and presentation. Some higher end options have that slightly more refined industrial design, slightly more premium materials, or clever little design touches that make them feel like a piece of high end tech rather than just a utility device. For example the retractable cable and braided cable that doubles as a carry handle on the Anker equivalent elevates it as a more practical product overall.
The Belkin doesn’t really lean into that though. It feels solid and functional, but not overly luxurious. It’s designed to be carried in a bag, used daily, knocked around a bit, and not really thought about too much beyond whether it’s charged or not. And that also reflects in the pricing, which is much more grounded compared to some of the more premium branded competitors. You’re not paying for an overly luxurious experience here, you’re paying for reliable functionality.
The 65W output is really the key strength though, because it’s what makes this genuinely useful rather than just “another power bank”. In simple terms, it means you can actually run and charge a laptop at the same time without immediately watching the battery drain underneath you. That alone makes it incredibly practical for travel, working away from a desk, or just having a bit of backup power when you need it.
It’s one of those things where once you have it, you stop thinking about whether you can work somewhere comfortably, because the answer is basically always yes.
It also works perfectly fine for everything else you’d expect, like phones, tablets, handheld gaming devices and accessories. It’s not limited or fussy about what you plug into it, which adds to that “just works” feeling, and that’s really the recurring theme here. It doesn’t try to be clever. It doesn’t try to over deliver. It just consistently meets expectations.
In terms of size and weight, it sits exactly where you’d expect a 65W laptop capable power bank to sit. It’s not something you’re casually slipping into your pocket, but it’s perfectly reasonable to throw in a backpack or laptop bag without thinking twice about it, and again, it feels like the design prioritises practicality over anything else. It’s there to be used, not admired.
If I’m being completely honest, it’s not the kind of product that excites you in a traditional sense. There’s no moment where you unbox it and think it’s a piece of standout industrial design or next level innovation. However, I must say, unboxing this thing, the first thing you notice is how premium it looks at a glance. The entire unboxing experience is something that Belkin always does very, very well. Up there with the likes of apple in my opinion.
But there is something to be said for gear that just removes problems from your day without asking anything in return. That’s what this does. It takes away the worry of finding a charger, the stress of watching a laptop battery drop while you’re working, and the inconvenience of being tied to a wall. And it does all of that without any real fuss.
So while it might not be the most premium feeling or most advanced power bank on the market, it doesn’t really need to be. It’s positioned more as a practical tool than a luxury accessory, and judged on that basis, it absolutely holds its own.

The Belkin BoostCharge Pro 65W Laptop Power Bank focuses on being dependable, straightforward, and effective. It does exactly what it promises, and it does it very well. It’s not the most premium option out there, but it’s also not priced like one, and that balance makes it an easy, practical recommendation for anyone who just wants reliable power on the go without the extra fluff.
