Belkin Nintendo Switch 2 Accessories

I've had my Nintendo Switch 2 since picking it up at one of the midnight launches here in Australia. And like many early adopters of new tech, that kicked off the usual scramble to find decent accessories. I tried a few cheap bits off Amazon and a couple of products from brands I normally trust, with mixed results.
Then I was lucky enough to get sent a bunch of accessories from Belkin, and honestly, what a difference. Belkin's known for premium phone accessories, screen protectors, power banks, charging stands, that sort of thing – so when they told me they were stepping into the world of mobile gaming, I figured it made sense. And from what I’ve tested so far, they’ve absolutely hit the ground running with their Switch 2 range.

Belkin Charging Case for Nintendo Switch 2
Let’s start with the most interesting product of the bunch, the Charging Case. I hadn’t seen anything like this before, but as soon as they told me about it, I thought, “Why doesn't this thing already exist?” Maybe it does, maybe I just haven't seen it, but simply put, It’s a carry case with a built in battery pack. Simple idea, brilliant execution.

When I say “built in”, I mean it’s not physically built into the case, but engineered to fit perfectly into a cut out beneath your Switch. The included 10,000mAh power bank is made specifically for the Switch 2 and can be removed if needed. That’s enough juice to give the console about 1.5 charges, though I’ve mostly used it while playing to extend battery life, so I haven’t timed/tested that exactly.
Does it actually protect the console?
Yes, and not just from drops. This isn’t just a case with a battery shoved in. The battery pack has Switch 2 specific firmware that manages charge speed and temperature. I was a bit skeptical at first and noticed it getting a bit warm, but after several sessions, I’ve found it gets warm but never really hot, and definitely not hot enough to worry me.
As a carry case on its own?
It’s brilliant. Honestly, I reckon it’s the best Switch 2 case on the market right now. The materials feel premium, exactly what you'd expect from Belkin, and surprisingly, it’s not overly bulky. I thought the battery pack would add a heap of thickness, but it doesn’t. It does however make it a but heavier but that is to be expected.

The outer shell is tough, and the interior is padded with soft, snug brushed velvet material so nothing shifts around or scratches the console. There’s also room for 12 game cartridges, which I really appreciate. A lot of cases these days seem to be ditching cartridge storage altogether or having fewer and fewer slots, which bugs me, especially as someone who still buys physical copies whenever possible and likes to carry them around.
You also get a well padded accessory pocket for cords, Joy Con straps, or extra cords, possibly even an extra set of Joy Cons, although I haven't tried this myself to see how they would fit. And there’s a hidden Air Tag pocket, which I absolutely love. I travel a fair bit, so knowing I can track my Switch case if it goes walkabout gives me real peace of mind. It’s a small touch, but one that makes a big difference for me personally and I suspect a lot of others out there.

Real-world use
The case comes with a well designed cutout for the kickstand that allows it to become a stable platform, so I can rest it on my lap or tray table and charge while playing. This has basically solved one of my biggest frustrations with the Switch 2, the short battery life. No need to plug into a wall or juggle a dangling power bank. It just works!
Everything about this case feels thoughtful, premium, and built for people who actually use their Switch on the go. Time will tell how it holds up over the long haul, but so far, I honestly can't fault it. I mean, you’re going to need a carry case anyway right? You might as well get one that solves arguably peoples biggest complaint about the Switch 2, the battery problems, at the same time.

Belkin Travel Case for Nintendo Switch 2
Next up is the Belkin Travel Case. This one strips out the battery and gives you a lighter, simpler carry case. It’s exactly what it says on the tin, a no fuss protective case. It’s smaller and lighter than the Charging Case but still has all the same great build quality and attention to detail.
The outer shell is tough and water resistant, while the inside is lined with brushed velvet to keep your console scratch free. There are 12 cartridge slots again, with the same perfect elastic tension that keeps them secure but not frustrating to use.
You also get:
Superior protection
The hidden Air tag pocket
A padded accessories pouch
And this time, an adjustable carry handle that doubles as a wrist strap, handy for commuting
Is it worth it?
Absolutely. I’ve been using this as my daily case, and I'll save the Charging Case for when I’m travelling or need the extra battery. If you can swing both, get both. But if you’re deciding between the two, it really comes down to whether you need the built-in battery or not.

Belkin Power Bank 20K (30W) for Nintendo Switch 2
Alongside the cases, I also got to test Belkin’s new 20,000mAh 30W Power Bank, which is officially licensed for the Switch 2. And let me tell you, this thing’s great, I just have 2 minor issues with it.
The 20K capacity is more than enough to keep you going across multiple sessions or around 10 hours of Continuous Mario Kart World gameplay, and the 30W output means it charges the Switch 2 fast. Plus, its not just a Switch 2 charger, it works great for your phone or other devices too, which makes it a solid all rounder to chuck in your bag. It is optimised for the Switch 2 though with the same smart protect firmware the charging case battery pack comes installed with.

The design is again, what you’d expect from Belkin. Sleek, premium, and thoughtfully branded for the Switch. It even includes a built in USB-C cable, which seems like a clever idea at first… Until you realise how annoyingly short it actually is. Honestly, it feels like it was made to fit into a charge case, not to game while charging. It’s just not long enough to comfortably use the console while it's plugged in. It would’ve been great to see a retractable cable or even a longer foldaway option something to keep it tidy but functional. The short cable kind of defeats the purpose if you’re out and about and want to play while you charge. That said, the bank does have a second USB-C port, as well as a USB-A port so I just carry a longer cable anyway and kind of pretend the built in one doesn’t exist.
My only other gripe with this one, is the outdated battery level display. Unlike the one that is included in the carry case, which had an LED screen to display precise battery %, this one simply has 4 LED lights that only show your battery level in 25% increments. With other chargers out there, Belkin ones included, that feature screens with in depth detail on charging wattages etc, this level indicator system doesn't really have a place in the current market in my opinion.
Aside from these little gripes, this power bank has been rock solid. It charges quickly, holds heaps of juice, and plays nicely with the Switch 2’s power requirements. If you’re someone who regularly drains the battery on longer sessions or while travelling, this is a great addition to your kit.

Belkin Screen Protectors
Belkin also released and sent me two screen protectors:

Anti glare
Blue light filtering
I accidentally applied the anti glare one first, and honestly, I’ve loved it so much that I haven’t bothered switching to the blue light version yet. It works incredibly well outdoors, I’ve used my Switch 2 in the garden in full sun and still had great visibility. Indoors, it doesn't make the screen look overly dull or washed out like other glare free screen protectors I've tried in the past.
Application was super easy. Belkin includes an easy align frame, and it made a huge difference. I got it on perfectly first go, no bubbles or dust. The glass has a 9H hardness rating, so it should hold up well over time.
My only real gripe? I would have liked two protectors in the box in case I stuffed up the first attempt, but to be fair, I didn’t need a second one anyway.
Overall
If you’re in the market for premium Nintendo Switch 2 accessories, you honestly can’t go wrong with Belkin’s range. They’ve brought their years of experience from the mobile space and nailed their first run in gaming accessories. Everything I’ve tried has felt well made, useful, and worth the money.
Disclaimer:
Look, I love our followers, I really do. BUT... I don’t love you all enough to deliberately damage my Switch 2 to test these accessories. I'm not dropping bowling balls on it or attacking the screen with my keys just to prove a point. What I can say is that I’ve used all of these products for a little while now and in varying situations, and they’ve protected my console beautifully. I also look after my stuff, so I can't tell you what happens if you run it over with a car. But in normal day to day use, they’ve been spot on and honestly some of the best accessories I’ve used for any Nintendo console.
