After months of speculation Nintendo have officially announced the "Nintendo Switch Lite".
The Switch Lite will be released on September 20th and will retail for $199USD (approximately $285AUD)
Featuring a smaller screen (5.5inch), improved battery life (3570MaH) and as rumoured it will include non-removable joy-cons. That being said it looks as though you'll be able to pair an extra pair of joy-con controllers for games that require detachable controllers.
Coming in Grey, Yellow and Turqoise, the "Nintendo Switch Lite" will be 100% handheld meaning it will not have the ability to be docked. Giving it that real "GameBoy" appeal.
With the battery lasting anywhere between 4 and 6 hours of gameplay depending on the software the Nintendo Switch Lite could be the perfect travel companion for anyone looking for their gaming fix.
