It is now winter, and we are ready to discuss the next FOUR games coming to all PS Plus members this month. These games will be available to download via your PS4 or PS5 from June 3rd. Get ready to rug up next to the heater and find your next video game to play.

NBA 2K25

NBA 2K25 is the 26th instalment in the long-running NBA 2K franchise. As is the case with the vast majority of sports games, the core gameplay remains unchanged from previous entries, but a few added features refine the experience. 2K25 retains the ProPlay feature from 2K24, where footage from real-life NBA games turns into animations created exclusively in Unreal Engine 5. The PS5 version of the game features cross-play support with the Xbox Series X, but not for PC. This game also introduces Legend Badges to improve the builds of your team, and the acceleration gauge now tracks your overall agility.

NBA 2K25 received generally positive reviews from critics upon its release in September last year. Reviewers criticised the bugs and glitches present at launch. Despite this, NBA 2K25 has reportedly sold over 7 million copies since its launch. PS Plus members can now dive into the world of basketball when NBA 2K25 comes to PS Plus in June 2025.

Alone in the Dark

Alone in the Dark is a remake/reimagining of the original Alone in the Dark from 1992. The original game is one of the most influential survival horror games ever created and was the main inspiration for Capcom’s Resident Evil. You play as either Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood as they investigate Derceto Mansion, a mental institution.

Alone in the Dark came out in March 2024 and received a mixed critical reception. Sadly, the game failed to meet the expectations of THQ Nordic and the game’s development team, Pieces Interactive, closed down three months after the game’s release. Despite the sad events after the game’s release, Alone in the Dark is a piece of survival horror history, and the game will be available to all PS Plus members in June 2025.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is, in some ways, a spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio, a cult classic game from 2000 that was exclusive to the Sega Dreamcast. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk sees you skating around huge maps, completing missions, spraying graffiti and escaping the law. The cel-shaded art style is reminiscent of Jet Set Radio, and it looks absolutely stunning.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk came out in 2025 and received positive reviews. The main criticisms towards the game were the lack of difficulty and the game feeling like a copy of Jet Set Radio in too many areas. Despite the comparisons, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a modern hidden gem that all PS Plus members can check out in June 2025.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape

Destiny 2: The Final Shape is an expansion to the hugely popular multiplayer shooter Destiny 2. Destiny 2 has been a massive success for Bungie since its release in 2017. The Final Shape is the seventh expansion to the game, serving as a conclusion to the Light and Darkness Saga. It will not be the final expansion for the game as a whole, but The Final Shape serves as a bookend for the current storyline.

The Final Shape received major critical acclaim upon its release, debuting with a score of 90 out of 100 on Metacritic for the PS5 version. There is no better time for PS Plus members to dive into the world of Destiny when The Final Shape becomes available to all members in June 2025.
